Ziggy Marley is the oldest and possibly more mellow of reggae legend Bob Marleys children and his music reflects the calm gentle side of Bobs music. Ziggy seems to have been the most influenced by the optimistic passionate side where other sons like Damian and Stephen are more like the militant Marcus Garvey influenced rasta warrior ho chants about life in the ghetto and fighting for your rights. There are two distinct styles in Bobs music and Ziggy and Damian exemplify the oppposite ends of the spectrum.
This new album is title Family Time and it features Ziggy along with friends and family including his son Judah and others such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Willie Nelson and Paul Simon in an inspirational compilation for everyone to enjoy.
