@ThoughtsMedia
Thanks very much..
It looks very cool, just went to the top of my to get list.

@GamersWeekly123 Nope, I’ve never had that happen – but of course there’s a “chance”. It’s just a matter of how likely it is. The iPod Touch doesn’t have a lock button either. Start up time from completely powered off to the swipe to unlock screen is 19 seconds.

Is there any chance of it turning on while in your pocket due to the absence of a lock button?
Whats the Start-up time like?

@ThoughtsMedia You know what i mean, it may be good enough for the alarm if that, plus zune will probably add one in when the newer versions come out
By ThoughtsMedia on Aug 23, 2010 | Reply
@metalguitar1011 It doesn’t have to be great, it just has to be good enough to act as an alarm clock, or good enough to watch a movie trailer or YouTube video if there aren’t any headphones nearby.

My old zune 4gb locked itself and even thought the lock button was in the unlock position it was still locked. Will the zune hd have the same problem? cuz i just bought my today and i hope that doesn’t happen again.

@ThoughtsMedia Sorry for the dumb question i just watched your software video, so i get it now. Thanks.
By ThoughtsMedia on Aug 23, 2010 | Reply
@AstroXtreme I don’t understand what you’re asking. Are you asking if, when you update to the latest firmware, all your apps stay the same? Yes, they do. It’s a non-destructive update.

If you update software, do you have to update the previous firmware till you get to the newest one? Or the does the latest firmware have all the old apps and other stuff to?

just to let you guys kno, u can change the wallpaper and you can also upload your own pictures that u took and set them as a wallpaper and/or keep it in your picture folder.

@IMountainDewMe Yes, I feel that from a music/photo/video perspective, the Zune HD is a superior product. The browser, keyboard, and apps on the iPod Touch are superior though…so it really depends on what you want.
- Jason
By IMountainDewMe on Aug 23, 2010 | Reply
So is it safe to say that zune hd is superior in every way except for apps compared to the ipod touch.
By ThoughtsMedia on Aug 23, 2010 | Reply
@gdogg123uran The Zune has a better screen, better audio, better desktop software, wireless sync, and it does have a motion sensor. It’s a better music/video/photo player, but if you want apps, then yeah, the iPod Touch is a better choice.

i don’t see why i would buy a 200 dollar zune that doesn’t have apps or motion sensor when i can buy an i pod that has a ton more features.
By bmxmisfits on Aug 23, 2010 | Reply
@HostileChimera ipods better, in a few aspects zune is better, it really depends on the person, zune is more for music and video kind of person, and ipod touch is more for a person who wants a portable gameplayer, with music and easy acces to internet, but once the ipod is jailbroken, nothing can surpass it

@ruegswaggah Are you asking me that question? I meant in a future model.
