How do you put videos and movies on a zune?

I understand how to syncronize and everything but zunes and ipods always say you can put movies on them well where do they come from can you rip a movie off of a dvd like you can with music on a CD????

    Zune only supports the follow video formats:
    Windows Media Video (.wmv)
    MPEG4 video (m4v, .mp4, or .mov)
    H.264 video (.m4v, .mp4, or .mov)

    First ,you need converter software to help you to convert your movies and videos to to Zune WMV, MP4, MPEG4 video files.
    I recommend you to use wondershare zune video suite.You can download from

    And then,You need the zune softeare to help you transfer wmv video to zune player. If you don’t know
    how to do that, follow these steps
