About OLED vs LCD comparison…
I want to note that the brightness of both displays had been set to maximum.
The camera’s exposure had been set so the white of iPhone’s display wasn’t too strong given his higher brightness related to the Zune’s one. All clips had been taken with the same settings. With this choice makes the Zune’s display less bright than what it appears to naked eyes, but clearly shows that, once you set the camera’s exposure, the iPhone’s display is brighter of the Zune’s one.

About outdoor clips, fingerprints on both displays were produced by the normal use and there were on both devices in the same way. The Zune’s display is less bright, so you can notice fingerprints a little more.

So our video test was not biased and didn’t want to disparage Zune. About it, in the opening clips, we highlighted the excellent color rendering and viewing angle and the optimal results with the DLP projector.
In summary, it was only a demonstration that OLED is an excellent technology, but it isn’t completely mature.

Yeah that’s fair. Crank up the brightness on the iPod Touch’s screen but leave the Zune HD’s at Medium or Low.

I still don’t understand how you can even compare the two. One is a phone and one is simply a media player. It’s not trying to be anything other then a Media Player or else the focus wouldn’t have been focused on the music player.

lol this video is totay biased. when hes scrolling he scrolls on the iphone like he has add but on the zune like he is stoned, viewing anges outside were laughable also, I love apple but this was a bad review.

Because the iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch 3rd gen are the same internally (the new Touch might even be faster, but not sure about that)

This video fails. My friend with a 2nd generation iPod Touch was amazed at the brightness of my Zune HD screen at lowest brightness.
He was like, this is the lowest setting? I was like, yea, want to see it at the brightest setting? Needless to say, he was amazed at the OLED screen.

You see when he is showing the viewing angles of both devices. OLED clearly beats LCD in viewing angles so he tilts the Zune HD all the way and notice how the iPhone hardly even gets a full tilt. Such a biased video it’s not even funny. Also what called it a deal breaker was when I first saw the Zune HD’s screen next to the iPhone and instantly realized how dim the Zune’s screen was. LOL. Nice try on your subtle way of bashing the Zune but this time Microsoft is hitting hard. Apple, watch out!!!

the zune screen is light years better then the iphone screen, no match, this comparison is biased in that regard, but iphone still wins cause it has more options like app store , its a phone. apple will be really stupid if they dont’ make the next iphone with OLED screen and radio.
